Housekeeping¶
Your suite is cared for on a regular schedule. Your specific cleaning day varies per unit and will be posted in your room.
What's Included¶
- Emptying trash baskets
- Making beds
- Tidying bathrooms and bedrooms
- Changing linens and making beds
- Changing towels
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms
- Vacuuming carpets
- Dusting furniture
- Wiping down kitchen areas
- Towels and paper products supplied as needed
Laundry¶
Residents' laundry is done twice per week — once for personal items and once for linens — unless otherwise specified on your Individual Service Plan.
Self-Service Laundry¶
Residents who wish to launder their own clothes are welcome to use the Resident laundry rooms on the 2nd floor.
- Detergent is dispensed at the machine at no additional charge
- Please ask a staff member to show you how the machines work
- Ask the Assisted Living Coordinator for a laundry bag if you would like one
