Your Monthly Statement¶
When you move into Hunter Mill, Sunrise will set up a resident account at the Resident Billing office at Sunrise's corporate offices. Monthly bills are generated from that office, not from Hunter Mill directly.
Key Billing Details¶
- First statement: Expect your first billing statement within 1–2 months after moving in.
- Prorated rent: If you move in mid-month, rent is prorated from your move-in date.
- Billing in advance: For permanent residents, rent is billed in advance for the following month.
- Payment due date: The 1st of the month. Payments received after the 1st will not appear as a credit on the following month's statement.
- Late payment charge: On the 2nd of the month, the system automatically generates a late payment charge of 1.25% APR on outstanding balances.
Billing Cycle
Credits or charges from billing changes may not appear on the following month's statement but should appear within two billing cycles, due to Sunrise's automatic monthly billing cycle.
What Appears on Your Bill¶
The following charges are added to your monthly invoice:
- Guest meals
- Room service
- Beauty salon charges
- Special activity charges
- Any additional services requested
Cable Television¶
Hunter Mill uses COX Communications. Your family must order a cable subscription directly from COX.
